At Ballard’s Natural Dog Treats, we are passionate about all things natural, sustainable and eco-friendly. We (Liam and Katie) have been running the company since 2023. We take our inspiration from Olive, our 4 year old Cavapoo. With her expressive eyes and loving personality, Olive captured our hearts from day one. However, her discerning palate presented us with a unique challenge. She was a fussy eater, turning her nose up at traditional dog food. After discussing with other dog owners at our local coffee and canine group, we began to do some research into alternative food options, and Olive started on a raw food diet. Although wary at first, the results were amazing – Olive wolfed down every meal, her health and happiness soared, we could see a difference very quickly. Her selective taste finally found its match. She couldn't get enough of the fresh, natural, and wholesome ingredients that comprised her meals, and we knew she was getting the best diet she could have.
This inspired us to explore natural dog treats, purchasing them from local shops. Olive loved them, and they had so many health benefits, we started to encourage our family and friends to buy them for their own dogs too. When the opportunity arose for us to source natural and sustainable dog treats from a supplier in Europe, we found their passion. With Liam’s background in owning and running a successful business, and Katie’s background in health being a nurse, Ballard’s Natural Dog Treats made perfect sense.
Today, our natural dog treat company stands as a testament to our love for Olive, and our commitment to providing dogs with the healthiest, tastiest treats available. Every product we offer reflects our dedication to the well-being of our four-legged companions and the planet. It's a journey that began with a fussy eater, but has blossomed into a thriving business built on love, passion, and a devotion to providing the very best for dogs.
